About

Meet Jeanne Glasser
(also known as Mrs. Doolittle)

I have been a fond lover of pets for many years, and am very well educated in all aspects of Pet Care.  During my tenure as a Manager at PETsMART, I underwent formal education and certification ranging from Aquatic to Canine/Feline to Equine, and everything in between.

I have owned a variety of pets all my life, and so much enjoy being around them.  I have cared for pets with medical conditions, requiring the administration of medication, as well as cared for pets who are considered shy or aloof.  To their owners constant amazement, I make these pets feel very comfortable, and within minutes, they jump into my arms, and either give me kisses, or purr like crazy.  So, if you have a pet that you’re worried about being with strangers like a Pet Sitter, look no further, you’ve come to the right place.

I also am a member of the Nassau/Suffolk Owner Handler Association (OHA), as I show my two Italian Greyhounds at American Kennel Club (AKC) Registered Dog Shows throughout the North East.  Dog Shows give me great enjoyment, as I get to meet, learn, and mentor, many other dog enthusiasts like myself.  Dog Shows also serve as a great forum where I get the opportunity to learn about many other breeds, and their associated traits.  In case you’re involved in the Dog Show circuit, my two boys names are L’Images The Devil’s Adversary (Tazz) and L’Images Run for the Roses (Oscar).  Tazz even has his picture in Barron’s Encyclopedia of Dog Breeds (1998)
(ISBN 0-7641-5097-9) written by D. Caroline Coile, Ph.D. .  We were approached by the photographer for the book during his first win.  I also share my home with my two Cockatiels named Valentine and Blondie, as well as some submersible children, aka Fish.  Oh, I can’t forget my loving husband Bob (the web site creator by the way – not by trade), my son Robert, and daughter Tamara.  My husband also as a hobby founded and operated a multi-line BBS (Bulletin Board Service) called Utopia Tech BBS and provided an e-mail and newsgroup feed to the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, as well as a K-12 feed for local school districts, way before the Internet was a household word.

I trust that my undying, unconditional love for, and experience with animals and various other qualifications I have worked hard to achieve, will make you feel at ease leaving your feathered, finned, and/or furry members of your family in my tender loving care when you’re not there!

Word of mouth is my best advertising, and that doesn’t come without doing a spectacular job.  It would give me great pleasure to give you references, so that you can hear about me, from people just like you…people that so dearly love their pets, and want nothing but the best for them.  I have clients from all walks of life…business owners, police officers, accountants, groomers, lawyers, massage therapists, salespeople, just to name a few.

My mission is to provide you with “reliable and responsible pet care when you can’t be there”, and to make you and your “babies” as comfortable and happy as possible while you’re away.
